Authentic prints on cards by NSW Aboriginal artists made possible through respect for Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) principles and protocols.

This artwork symbolizes the rugged spirit, endurance, and adaptability required of those who have lived in and died on country and how for thousands and thousands of years it still continues. I remember when I was a kid and now as an adult when going back to Country, that after there were bush fires how quickly the landscape would disappear. But it would quickly start to regrow. For me the meaning extends beyond the literal heat and encompasses the unique, harsh, and resilient nature of the Australian landscape.
