Shane Brown is a proud artist with strong connections to both the Yuin Nation on his mother’s side and the Dunghutti Nation on his father’s side. He began painting at the age of 12, developing his skills alongside his mother, Aunty Lorraine Brown, one of Coomaditchie’s senior artists and cultural leaders. Shane’s art reflects his deep respect for culture, family and community. His works are more than visual expressions—they carry stories, values and teachings that have been passed down through generations.
