Kanisha Storer is a proud Yuin and Wiradjuri woman and an emerging artist from the Coomaditchie community. With heritage spanning both coastal and inland Country, her work reflects the richness of her identity and the stories that connect land, water, and people. Raised in a strong artistic and cultural environment, Kanisha has been supported by Elders and fellow artists at Coomaditchie. Her journey has been shaped by this intergenerational exchange and her own lived experiences. Her art explores the meeting of her Yuin and Wiradjuri roots, blending traditions to tell stories of place, identity, and belonging. Her pieces carry movement and meaning, offering a fresh perspective grounded in cultural knowledge. As she continues to grow, Kanisha brings energy, insight, and deep respect for her heritage.
