Murrook Cultural Festival Returns Promising Culture, Connection, and Celebration
10-11-2025

Murrook Culture Centre celebrates culture on Worimi Country with the 2025 return of the Murrook Cultural Festival.

On the iconic Worimi Sand Dunes, the Festival brings people  together to embrace culture as a community, fostering authentic connection with music, dance, art, and celebration.

Murrook has a strong history of delivering rich cultural experiences bolstered by Aboriginal artists, performers, and knowledge holders, and the festival is no exception. This year, it comes in the form of dance performances, cultural workshops, established and emerging artists, fire-cooked food and locally sourced fish and oysters, they have also teased a spectacular light and fireworks show to close the Festival. Whether you’re a local, a returning visitor or a Murrook first-timer, the Festival promises a truly warm, welcoming, and joyful atmosphere for the whole family.

This year’s theme is Wakulda, meaning As One. It symbolises the gathering and unity of people who share the responsibility and respect of Country and culture, and the way that walking together “as one” deepens our connection to each other and the land. Mark your calendars, this one is not to be missed.
