ACHAA’s New Era

Welcome, finally, to the new website for ACHAA – the home for NSW Aboriginal culture, heritage & arts.
It’s taken awhile but, like all good things, we hope you find it has been worth the wait.
More than just a website, this is a milestone marking the beginnings of a new era for ACHAA and its membership.
We have a new headquarters in the Arts Exchange in The Rocks in Sydney alongside other peak organisations, where you will find new staff in new positions.
So you can expect with this – and further expansion ahead – there’s much more to come. Meaning more programming, professional development opportunities and advocacy for our core membership of Aboriginal community-controlled cultural centres and working more with our supporting Associate Members and our Metro Cultural Institution Members.
In the meantime, take a look around our online HQ: find an authentic community based Aboriginal cultural centre near you; meet some of their talented artists; sample their works in the gallery and snap up something that takes your fancy from the shop.
ACHAA takes no commission as a service to our members, so all proceeds go directly to the Aboriginal artists and the centres that support them.
The gallery is going to grow as more centres and artists come on board, so be sure to sign up to the newsletter on the gallery page for our monthly Curator’s Picks.
